We survived!! We took the kiddos camping for the very first time ever!! Well it was more like glamping, as we had the opportunity to borrow the in-laws camper for a couple of weeks!! Now that we have had a taste of the wilderness life, we can’t wait to get our own awesome trailer, so we can enjoy camping adventures all summer long!
Since the kiddos have never experienced the outdoor camping life before (and we have not experienced sleeping next to the kids before), I thought I’d create a Kids Camping Activities Bag, so that if they go tired of all the fishing, swimming, camp fires, and exploring they would have some little fun activities to keep them busy. We gave them these bags when we arrived at the camp site (and of course after they got naked!! Why are my kids always naked?!?!), and they were so happy with all their fun goodies.
So if you are looking for some ideas to make your kiddos first camping trip a little more fun, check out our list of things to add to an awesome Kids Camping Activities Bag.

I hope this kids camping activities bag items inspired you to create your own camping activities bag for your own kiddos, and yet didn’t make you feel like you need to buy them anything really… all they really need is rocks and dirt… lol… It’s just for fun! I purchased everything for my kids Camping Activities Bag from the local Dollarama. Let me know what you pack for your young kiddos for your camping trips to keep them busy?!?!
Until next time, enjoy the great outdoors with your kiddos, and create beautiful things everyday!

Oh my goodness there little faces are priceless. I need to remember these items when we go camping with our nieces and nephews, the glow sticks that you have listed look like a big winner to me and the critter kit, I know exactly who would love that one.
Thanks so much Jen! I’m sure your nieces and nephews will want to camp with you all the time if you bring some of these items camping. Lol. Have an awesome time camping!
Such adorable things not only for kids but for grown ups like me who are ready to camp with pretty things.
RIGHT!?!?! Me too. Some of these items were really for me… lol… Have fun on your camping adventures!
We love camping! This is a great idea. I always take a rainy day bag of activities (which usually gets a lot of use) because when it’s sunny my kids just run around outside. And they like being naked too! ?
Great idea Charlotte! I love the idea of a rainy day activity bag! Thanks Love it!
We camped this summer with three toddlers. The battery powered lanterns were huge hits! For older kids, I’d suggest a bug box (something to catch and keep lightning bugs in –temporarily, of course).
Great ideas Tracy! 3 toddlers!! You are brave! lol… hope your next camping adventures go just as well!
These are some great essentials for camping with kids! I especially like the lanterns and the walkie-talkies.
Thanks Joanna! I know! I wish I had walkie Talkies camping when we were little. So much fun!
Such great idea for kids campaign 🙂 they would love these stuffs
Thanks Sree! Have a great day!
