How great does it feel to be appreciated?!?! Having someone tell you they are grateful for the things you do, is pretty rad, and gives your day a special little spark. I know it sure makes me happy. It makes the small things is life so much more meaningful, and strengthens my special relationships.
I wish I remembered to let Shawinkins know every time that I was grateful for him… because he does SO much for our family. Inside I appreciate him immensely, but I don’t express it as much as I should. He is so many important things to our family, and I really can’t imagine life without him.
So, Valentine’s Day is coming up soon… in the past I made Shawnikins a Valentine that included a list of 100 things that I love about him, his life, his body… I think it was a hit. He would bring out his list, and read it from time to time, to either make him feel good, or… to remind me of what I love about him… wink.
So this year instead of making a list of things I love about him (because 200 things would be easy, but unneeded), I made a list of 100 things I appreciate about him, or are grateful for, related to my Shawnikins.
Here is a little sample of some of the things I wrote for him… Sorry I can’t share all 100 things… that could get a little uncomfortable…wink!
To finish off the grateful list, I made this watercolor card, and used some letter stamps to add I little note, “Grateful for you Valentine”. Easy Peasy!

I hope this little thoughtful gift idea inspires you to let your significant other know how much you appreciate them.
And not only is it awesome to receive a list like this, but creating it reminds you how much you love someone. It’s a great thing to do to better your relationship. Then try to remember to let your lover know that you are grateful for them every day!
Until next time, be grateful for what you have, and enjoy creating beautiful things everyday!
