My husband makes the best Hamburgers EVER!!! Super juicy and tasty too! However, you probably know that burgers are not a go to meal for weight loss, so I have worked with him to discover a way of making all the ingredients in these burgers the healthiest version. And we can’t tell the difference!! Now that we use this healthy burger alternative in our family, Shawnikins can cook this meal once in a while (I get a break from cooking dinner that day) and I don’t have to worry about gaining weight. SCORE!!
So, welcome to the burger to eat when you NEEED to eat a burger and not feel bad about it! Shawnikins often makes burgers on the BBQ for friends and family and I don’t want to have to make a different weight loss friendly meal for myself, so I have discovered the Hamburger Salad!! Enjoy the Deliciousness of this awesome Hamburger Salad Recipe!!
This looks so delicious. I’ll have to give this a go the next time I have hamburgers.
Thanks Luci! They are yummy. Iām excited for you to try them. Enjoy!
I worked at a restaurant years ago that would make a staff meal every night for the kitchen workers and one of their go to meals was a big taco salad like this. I loved that it fed a lot of people and was budget friendly as well. I need to try this one with my family, salads are so versatile!
Awesome! Yes. I love throwing a dinner that the rest of the family is eating on some lettuce and calling it my salad dinner. So yummy!!
This is AWESOME!!! I never have been one to look at online recipes, but holy cow I think that I am going to have to make this! Looks sOOOO delicious!
Thanks Valerie! LOL. Online recipes are the best! I’m glad that I could share this deliciousness with you!
Who would have thought a burger salad could look so freaking good?! My word!!! I have to try this. Saving it for future reference xx
Awesome! Enjoy it!
This looks so tasty. I never thought to make a burger salad. Definitely a healthier alternative to fried and having bread.
Thanks Tachira! Yes! Sooo tasty!!
Looks good and healthy ! Definitely need to try this!
Thanks Anissa! Enjoy!
AAAAhhhhhhh this I have to try!!! looks interesting! š
Thanks Sonya! It’s yumm!
I can’t wait to try this! I love the idea of a hamburger salad. It’s such a great way to join in the summer BBQ fun, but still stay healthy. In fact, I don’t even like the bun! I eat a lot of lettuce wrapped burgers, but they can be messy and it’s hard to find lettuce that is big enough to wrap around the patty. A salad would be so much easier – and have the added benefit of not being messy! Great idea š
YES!! Thanks so much! I agree to all of it! LoL. iIs’ way less messy and so much yummy!
Iām hungry after reading this post so this is gonna be my lunch. Yum! ?
awesome! Enjoy your lunch!
I love burgers, so I think this might be one recipe I’ll try, minus the tomatoes. I just can’t with tomatoes.
Sounds great to me!
This sounds fantastic and those who want can always stuff the whole lot in a bun!
lol yes they can! My husband and kiddos have the bun, and depending on my level of wanting to lose weight, I opt for the salad! I think the salad is more delicious than with the bun!
Looks very delicious.. YUM!
Thanks!
This looks delicious! I love that it is a healthier take on the classic hamburger. Great photos too!
Thanks so much Joanna! Yes I love looking for ways to make a meal healthier!
I’ve never heard of hamburger salad but that sounds awesome!
Thanks Susannah! Well I’m glad to have opened your mind to the world of burger patties on salads! They are amazing!
This looks utterly amazing!!! I am on Atkins and always looking for something to cure my burger craving! This will certainly fit the bill!
Perfect! Me too! I mostly eat a paleo based diet, and this fits the bill for me too! X
