Isn’t the best part of parenting when you can turn your kids into something else?!?! Lol… Well, not literally… but by putting your kids cute faces on some fun or Spoooooooky animal crafts! Well this Halloween we decided to go batty, and turn the kids into blinging black bat kids. And I love how they turned out! High five to scary bat faces!!
I love making crafts like these because they are keepers!! Not that I need to keep anything else in my life… But I love these kind of keepsakes to look back on to see how cute your young kiddos once were. Lol…
A couple years ago we bunnified the kids at Easter, and I love to bring out those decorations at that time of the year. Now I have Bat Kids to decorate with each Halloween! Just look at those crazy bat faces! They nailed it!

STEPS TO MAKE BAT KIDS:
Step 1: Make a Bat template out of cardstock paper. You can google Bat templates or just draw your own!
Step 2: Trace your template onto some cardboard and use an Exacto knife to cut your awesome spooky bats out.
Step 3: Spray paint your sweet cardboard bats black.
Step 4: Take photos of your kids crazy bat faces! Then print them on a photo printer. I printed them as 4 X 6 photos and the faces were a perfect size.
Step 5: Cut out your kiddos faces, and let the kiddos decorate their own spooky black bats! LOL… Corbin’s Bat face!!
I may or may not have added a few more black beans and bling to the bats before they were complete!! Mom has got to get her craft on too… right?!?!
We had so much fun making these crazy bat kids with our craft date friends. I hope this Halloween craft inspires you to create some cute bat kids with your own kiddos, or invite some friends over and do it as a group Halloween craft date! This super cute (I mean spooooooooooky), inexpensive Halloween craft was an awesomely fun memory maker!
Until next time, happy Halloween crafting, and enjoy creating beautiful things everyday!
