3 DIY Halloween Decor Ideas: Using Dollar Store Ping Pong Eyeballs

It’s Dollar Tree crafting time!! Because finding ways to make something fun from something cheap is life!! If you have ever been to the Dollar Tree at Halloween, they always have these ping pong eyeballs, but what do you do with them? Well I have come up with 3 different ways to use those awesome ping pong eyeballs to create some fun Halloween decorations this year! Check em out!

EYEBALL WREATH OF HORRORS

Okay, so have you seen the Dark Crystal… of course you have… and so you must remember Olga?? That’s what this wreath reminds me of. She could take her eyeballs out and still see with them! She was AWESOME! Well this wreath of horrors is made up of a bunch of Olga’s eyeballs, and it’s so simple to make that anyone that is aloud to handle a hot glue gun can whip this bad boy up in minutes.

PING PONG EYEBALL PUMPKIN HEAD:

Who likes easy pumpkin carving ideas?!?! I do!! This might come as a shock to you, but one of the creative things I most dislike doing is… PUMPKIN CARVING! I know… Shocking since I enjoy making pretty much everything and anything… well I am so glad that pumpkin carving only happens once a year. And every year I try to find a way to carve a pumpkin in one of the easiest ways possible. Well last year I carved my pumpkin to fit the dollar store eyeballs. When the candle was lit inside the ping pong eyeballs glowed brightly, and it was nifty!

SUPPLIES NEEDED TO MAKE PING PONG EYEBALL PUMPKIN:

  • Pumpkin
  • Sharp Pumpkin Carving Knife
  • Big Spoon – for scooping out the guts
  • Ping Pong Eyeballs
  • Tea Light Candle

STEPS TO MAKE PING PONG EYEBALL PUMPKIN:

Step #1: Prep your pumpkin by cutting off the top and scooping out the guts.

Step #2: Carve holes in the pumpkin the size of your ping pong eyeballs, and stick the ping pong eyeballs into those holes!

Step #3: Light up your pumpkin and watch it glow!
