Gum Drop Pouf!

I used Amy Butler’s Gum Drop Pillow Pattern to create this super cute pouf!

I used upholstery fabric which is a bit thicker to give the pouf more stability and I filled it with very small polystyrene beads called softloft micro beads. I also used quilt batting scraps to fill it because I ran out of the beads.

I was super excited to make this pouf and get it done, so I did not take the time to make a liner for the pouf. Making a liner is a very good idea because it will keep the stuffing inside the pouf for longer and you could make the outer layer removable and washable.

This cute pouf sits by our front door and we use it to sit on while we put our shoes on. I get a lot of compliments on it and look forward to making more in the future. I just need a bigger house to store them.  🙂
Have fun making your own poufs!
