DIY Kitty Cat Headbands for a Kids Kitty Cat Birthday Party

Ivy is turning 5!! How the time has flown, and how the times have changed in the world of kids birthday parties!! Well, this year to make this girls Kitty Cat Birthday Party dreams come true, we are having individual Kitty Party Playdates with a few kiddos from her class. And to make these playdates a little more fun I made these cute DIY Kitty Cat Headbands out of dollar store headbands, and some Teddy Bear Fur. And you can easily make them too!

I just whipped these cuties up, and plan to have them by the door, so when each of her friends come to play, we won’t forget to put one on!

Maybe I’ll I use face paint to paint a few whiskers on the kiddos faces and WALA!! Kitty Kids!!

SUPPLIES TO MAKE DIY KITTY CAT HEADBANDS:

  • Headbands – I got these in a 3 pack at the Dollar Tree
  • Grey Felt or I think this is Teddy Bear Fur Fabric (I just had it in my craft supplies)
  • Pink Felt
  • Fabri-tac Fabric Glue
  • Scissors
How to make cat ear headbands

STEPS TO MAKE DIY KITTY CAT HEADBANDS:

Step #1: Cut out your felt pieces. You will want to cut out 2 ovals with a bit of a point to them, and 2 inside ear parts for each headband. (See photo above)

P.S. We just got 2 of the cutest little kitty cats, and they may or may not end up in some of my blog posts from now on. They are just so very curious about everything I’m making. Especially when I’m trying to take photos of all the crafty things. Your welcome! This is our little boy Foxy!

Step #2: Add some Fabri-Tac glue to the back of your felt ear piece and fold it around the head band. Like this…

Step #3: Cut out 2 inside the ear pieces, and use your Fabri-Tac to glue it to the other ear pieces. Like this…

Step #4: Let them dry! And done! Ready to party like a Kitty!
